Jump Me, Chapter Six
October 19th, 2006 10:36 pmAnd so they meet. And stare. And stare some more.
I'll just leave it up to you guys to figure out what tonight's chapter graphic is all about....

Chapter Six
It really WAS him.
Patty almost squee’d out loud when he insisted on towing her car instead of just jumping the battery so she could follow him to the shop. She watched him as he hooked up the tow bar assembly, admiring the view silently. When he invited her to climb into the cab of the truck and sit with him, she was afraid he’d seen her shiver of delight.
He held out his hand for her to use for balance as she stepped up onto the running board of the truck and crawled in. She was careful not to be too terribly blatant about giving him a face full of her round bottom as she slid past him onto the seat. He must have liked what he saw, for he had a pleasant sort of sheepish little grin on his face when he went to shut her door.
While he walked around the back of the truck to check the connection to her car one last time, Patty pressed the knuckles of her right hand to her teeth and finally gave voice to the little squee that so desperately wanted to come out.
She wondered if she’d worn the right outfit. Wondered if she’d appeared too eager. Wondered if she’d said the right things. Wondered if she had anything stuck between her front teeth.
Oh well, too late.
She was what you’d call ‘committed’ now.

Unfortunately, I was so freakin sick last weekend that I don't even remember it. I lost about four days entirely.
I missed you!

I only hope he enjoyed what he saw too.
